Daw Zin Mar Aung, Minister of the National Unity Government (NUG), explained the structure and upcoming action plans of the Consultative Council for Federal Democratic Union Formation (SEEF).

1. Structure and Four Pillars

  • Federal units of the states

  • Representative groups of Ethnic Resistance Organizations (EROs)

  • Elected public representatives

  • Women’s representation pillar, representing over 50% of the country’s population

2. Organizational Structure

  • Grand Strategy and Policy Leadership Team (Leaders)

  • Secretariat

  • Sector-specific working groups (including Security and Defense, Federal Affairs, and Finance)

  • Policy I-team formation

  • Military Strategy Coordination Committee

3. Action Plans for the First 60 Days

  • Expanding the coalition: Continuing discussions to expand the new coalition structures.

  • Operational effectiveness: Implementing coordinated strategies by sector based on the lessons learned over the past five years.

  • Expanding new members: Engaging and negotiating with relevant organizations to bring in new members.

  • Gaining domestic and international support: Systematically implementing this through sector-specific working groups.

4. Four Core Principles of SEEF

  • Shared sovereignty / Collective leadership

  • Accountability and responsibility regarding transition

  • Mutual respect and recognition

With the aim of not only improving the revolutionary situation but also laying good foundations for the post-revolution transition and the establishment of a federal democratic union, all members will accelerate the revolution based on these principles.
